No parent should have to worry about how they’ll keep food on the table for their children during the summer months.

That’s why SUN Bucks is such an important resource for Alabama families. Through the Summer EBT program, eligible children can receive a one-time benefit of $120 to help families purchase groceries while school is out.

Most eligible families are enrolled automatically, but if you haven’t received benefits and think your child may qualify, there’s still time to apply! The deadline for 2026 benefits is August 15, 2026.

Visit https://alabama-sunbucks.com/ to complete an online or paper application, or call 800-443-3536 for assistance.

It never hurts to apply or ask if you’re eligible. And please help spread the word by sharing this information with family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who may benefit.

Together, we can help ensure Alabama children have access to the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and thrive all summer long.

📚🩺 Help Support Our Future Healthcare Professionals! 🩺📚

Our Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) students are working hard to gain the skills and certifications needed to enter the healthcare workforce and serve our community. To provide the best hands-on training possible, we are seeking donations of a few essential training items through our Amazon Wishlist.

Currently, our greatest needs are:
✅ Blood Pressure Cuffs
✅ Phlebotomy Practice Kits

These supplies allow students to practice vital clinical skills in a safe learning environment and help prepare them for certification exams and future careers in healthcare.

If you would like to support our students and invest in the future healthcare workforce of our community, please consider purchasing an item from our Amazon Wishlist.
