The Hanson House Foundation is honored to be selected by Marker Broadcasting for their Wine Down Wednesday fundraiser on July 29th from 5 to 7 pm at Eight4Nine. Join us to enjoy wine and apps for only $20.

Your support will help loved ones visiting families dealing with trauma at our local hospitals. No RSVP necessary, $20 per person (cash or credit) payable at the door. We look forward to seeing you!

Today, we lovingly remember our founder, Dr. Frank Ercoli, on the anniversary of his passing. His vision, compassion, and dedication continue to inspire our mission every day. Forever grateful for the legacy he left behind. 🙏🏼

Frank Ercoli, MD, one year later and we still miss you terribly. Thank you for being the powerhouse behind Hanson House. Because of you, thousands of people have been able to stay close to their loved ones in the hospital. Forever in our hearts and minds.

Please join us in welcoming Zaira Garcia as our new Family Resource Services - Case Manager at Hanson House Foundation.

This newly established, non-clinical position will help expand our family support services by connecting guests with resources, community services, and support during their healthcare journey.

Professional Bio:

Zaira Garcia is a nonprofit and community engagement professional with experience in program coordination, community outreach, workforce development, and educational services. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with underserved communities, helping individuals and families access resources that promote education, economic opportunity, and self-sufficiency.

Her background includes developing and implementing community programs, organizing outreach initiatives, facilitating workshops, and building partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. Zaira is passionate about public service and is committed to creating meaningful opportunities that strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

Zaira holds a background in public administration and is dedicated to advancing programs and services that support individuals, families, and communities in reaching their full potential.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Palm Springs Sunup for your generous support of Hanson House Foundation.

Grant funds were used to complete Phase II of our guest room enhancements, including new bedding, bedside credenza tables, and decorative pillows for our casitas. These upgrades help create a more comfortable and welcoming home away from home for families, caregivers, and patients facing medical crises and treatment.

We are grateful for your ongoing partnership and commitment to the families we serve.

Flashback Friday ✨

Today, we pause to honor and remember two extraordinary individuals whose vision and generosity helped create the foundation of Hanson House as we know it today: our founder, Dr. Frank Ercoli, and Lord Hanson.

Dr. Ercoli imagined a place where families facing medical crises could find comfort, support, and a true home away from home while remaining close to their loved ones receiving care. Through his leadership and dedication, that vision took shape. With the generosity of Lord Hanson, whose support made the first phase of Hanson House possible, a lasting legacy of compassion was born.

Although both Dr. Ercoli and Lord Hanson are no longer with us, their impact continues to be felt every day through the thousands of families, caregivers, and patients who have found refuge, hope, and support within our walls.

What began as their vision has grown into a community of care that continues to serve families throughout our region. We are honored to carry their legacy forward through affordable lodging, family support services, and the dedication of our staff and volunteers.

Their vision lives on in every family welcomed, every meal shared, every act of kindness offered, and every life touched at Hanson House.

We are honored to receive this Certificate of Appreciation from the Rotary Club of Coachella East in recognition of Hanson House Foundation’s partnership during the April 25, 2026, Rotarians at Work Day in Mecca, CA. 🤝

This incredible day brought 20 volunteers together to support a local elderly resident by clearing, cleaning, and transforming their yard into a safer and more welcoming space. It was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when organizations and community members come together to serve others.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Coachella East and everyone who dedicated their time, energy, and heart to this meaningful project. We are grateful to be part of a community that believes in service, compassion, and making a difference. ❤️
