Found during inspection: the inner fender has slowly worn into the reinforcement ply of this steering axle air hose. It’s a good reminder to check hose routing and clearance regularly and correct issues before they turn into bigger problems.

During an inspection, 3 of 4 sliding axle locking pins on this loaded trailer were not engaged.

If those pins aren’t fully seated, the axle can shift while the trailer is in motion, throwing off weight distribution and potentially causing the driver to lose control.

Always verify every locking pin is fully engaged before your trip and after every adjustment.

If your spring eye bushing looks like this, it should’ve been replaced yesterday. A worn bushing can compromise axle control and create serious safety risks.
