On July 1, the Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network joined Jewish Family Service's Let's Do Lunch program at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert to help local seniors prepare for emergencies.

A total of 63 seniors participated in a disaster preparedness presentation led by CVDPN volunteer Marlene Lynn. Each attendee received a Ready-to-Go Bag, first aid kit, Vial of Life, and valuable emergency preparedness information.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers—Linda Kroger, Jayne Strelecki, Crickett Strelecki, Marlene Lynn, and Mitch Brown—and to Savannah Ortega and Jewish Family Service for partnering with us to bring this important program to our community.
