Naloxone, also commonly referred to as Narcan, is life-saving medication. It restores normal breathing, within two to three minutes, for a person whose breath has slowed or stopped as a result of an opioid overdose.

Naloxone is not a solution to drug addiction but prevents a life from becoming another statistic.
