Our second graders had a special visit from Chief Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson of WAVY TV 10! 🌦️ Students are learning about weather and seasonal changes, so it was exciting to welcome a local meteorologist and connect classroom learning to the work of forecasting. Thank you, Jeff, for visiting our school!

🌊 Learning beyond the classroom! On October 6th & 7th, our 3rd Grade students visited the Learning Barge in Norfolk. A floating classroom on the Elizabeth River, the barge gives students a hands-on way to explore wetlands, wildlife, and river ecology. Thank you to the Elizabeth River Project for this memorable learning experience!
