Today, Naval Station Norfolk welcomed thousands of visitors aboard U.S. and international warships as we celebrated America’s 250th Birthday and showcased the strength of our maritime partnerships. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

There’s still time to visit tomorrow, June 21!

🚢 Ship tours: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
⏰ Last security screening in downtown Norfolk: 4 p.m.
🚌 Guests without base access must ride the shuttle buses from the Front Street Parking Lot.

🚗 Guests with base access may drive directly onto Naval Station Norfolk.

Congratulations to the Naval Air Station Airmen on their 3-0 victory over the Naval Training Station Bluejackets in the 2026 Navy World Series Throwback Softball Game! 🏆👏

As we celebrate our Nation’s 250th birthday, events like this remind us of the rich history, traditions, and camaraderie that have connected generations of Americans and Sailors. 🇺🇸⚓

Located just outside Pier 14, the USO will be serving up a full week of fun, food, games, refreshments, and international-themed activities from June 17–23! 🎉🌎

This is open to ALL Sailors and our foreign guests.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

Join us during SAIL250® Virginia on June 20-21 for a rare opportunity to step aboard U.S. Navy and international military ships, meet Sailors from around the world, and experience life at sea firsthand! 🚢🌎

📍 Be sure to review the flyer for ship listings, screening information, requirements, and restrictions.

🚗 Visitors with base access may drive directly onto Naval Station Norfolk and tour the ships.

🚌 Visitors without base access must report to the downtown Norfolk screening location listed on the flyer and ride the shuttle buses to the installation.

🚨 Important: The last security screening in downtown Norfolk will take place promptly at 4 p.m. Visitors arriving after 4 p.m. will not be permitted to board buses or tour the ships.

⚠️ All guests must meet identification, screening, and security requirements. Visitors who do not comply with event requirements and restrictions will be turned away.
