Come say hello to Share the Beach Director Rachael Holdsworth at the Gulf Shores Summer Series:

We're kicking off our first Sunset Series concert 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 at 5 p.m.! 🌅🎶

The evening's entertainment begins with a live DJ at 5 p.m., and Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band will take the stage at 6 p.m. Beachin' Eats Food Truck and Kona Ice will be on-site for those who wish to purchase food or a sweet treat, and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be on-site selling beverages for all ages to enjoy.

🦪 In Alabama, oysters are a major part of the state's coastal culture, commercial fishing industry and food scene. But did you know that it's possible to enjoy these Gulf Coast delicacies while giving back to coastal ecosystems that support their development and growth? In Alabama, more than 456 dump trucks worth of oyster shells have been recycled from restaurants from Mobile to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach by the Alabama Coastal Foundation. Since 2016, the program has diverted oyster shells from landfills to restoring 120 acres of oyster reefs off the state’s coast.
