We owe a gigantic thank you to the Mannford Masonic Lodge #515 Oklahoma and to our Friends of the Mannford Public Library!! Earlier this month the Lodge hosted a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for the Friends. A delicious breakfast turned into a generous donation: Members of the Lodge presented FOL president Wesley Fentress with a check for $1,490. Also attending was FOL member Mary Vicky Zachary and library director Colleen Branson.

The Friends is a non-profit organization providing support to your local library and serving as the voice of the community in library promotion. The Friends assist with the library's Summer Reading Program, Princess Academy, and so many other library programs and needs. Thank you, Mannford Masonic Lodge # 515 Oklahoma and Friends of the Mannford Public LibraryOklahoma!!!

Legends in the Library!

Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for the very beginner to the well-traveled player begins soon at the Mannford Public Library.

We are tentatively looking at starting sometime in November and will have sessions for teens age 12 to 17 and for those 18 and older.

Teen adventures will likely be held on Tuesdays from 4-6:00 p.m. and adult adventurers can get together on Fridays from 6-8:00 p.m.

So this is the initial plan. We will let you know more as things are finalized.

Dig out those polyhedral dice!

Well met, traveler! There are whispers on the wind, the desire of some who wish to be a ranger, a paladin, a druid, nay, a bard, or someone else but for a few hours!

We would like to aid in this desire for adventure and host Dungeons & Dragons campaigns up here at the library, but we need some input before we set it all out or even go on this adventure.

First of all
#1) Would anyone be interested in teen (ages 12-17) and/or adult sessions?

#2) Do you want to meet every week, every other week, or once a month?

#3) Would Tuesdays after school be a good day for teens?

#4) Would Fridays after work be a good day for adults (18+)?

We have individuals who can serve as campaign/game master and to help the younger players OR if you just want to learn how to play!

May your path be free of traps!
