The Friends of the Mannford Public Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing support to the public library and serving as a voice in the community in library promotion. The Friends donate their time and energies to helping the library provide the best service in the Mannford community. The objective of this group is to promote goodwill and continued growth at our public library. The Fr

It was with heavy hearts that we announce that founding member of the Friends of the Mannford Public Library has passed. Olive was a kind person with helping heart and hands and she will be missed by many.

Olive Heaton’s Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 19, at Mannford Assembly (102 Greenwood Avenue). Her interment will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 22, in Council Grove, Kansas, at the Sunny Slope Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs (211 E. Broadway). Visitation at the Sand Springs funeral home will be from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, January 18. That evening, the family will be present for the viewing, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.
