๐Ÿ’ฆ SPLASH PAD CLOSED FOR THE SEASON ๐Ÿ’ฆ

We are very sad to announce that the Mannford Splash Pad is now CLOSED until next Spring.

Unfortunately, the Splash Pad has experienced vandalism that caused damage requiring repairs, and those repairs will take some time to complete. Because of this, we have had to make the difficult decision to close the Splash Pad earlier than planned for the season.

We know how much our families and children enjoy the Splash Pad, and we are extremely disappointed that the actions of a few have resulted in the early closure of a facility that is meant for everyone in our community to enjoy.

Our crews will be working to make the necessary repairs so the Splash Pad can be ready to welcome everyone back next Spring! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ

We appreciate everyone's understanding and ask our community to please help us take care of and protect our parks and public facilities. They belong to all of us. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you, Mannford!

๐Ÿ“ข PUBLIC INFORMATION NOTICE

We want to take a moment to address some misinformation that has been circulating regarding the recent discussion of de-annexation.

The date was published incorrectly.

As part of our continued effort to keep our citizens informed and provide easy access to public information, we have added a new Legal Publications & Public Notices section to the main page of the City of Mannford website. Moving forward, legal publications and public notices will be posted there for the public to view.

The City has submitted the required Legal Publication regarding the proposed de-annexation, and it should appear in the next newspaper publication.

For the public record, the next Town Board Meeting will be held:

๐Ÿ“… Thursday, September 10, 2026
โฐ 6:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Mannford Town Hall

During this meeting, there will be a public hearing regarding the proposed de-annexation of the property in question.

We encourage citizens to refer to official City notices, meeting agendas, and legal publications for accurate information regarding Town business.

As always, the City of Mannford is committed to transparency and keeping our citizens informed. We appreciate everyone who takes the time to stay involved and informed about what is happening in our community.

Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend!

๐Ÿ“ข G.O. Bond Committee Update & Next Steps ๐Ÿ“ข

The G.O. Bond Committee has met and reviewed the results of the community survey. Based on your feedback, the top three priorities identified by our residents are:

๐Ÿšง Railroad Overpass / Alternative Route
๐Ÿ’ง Public Water Supply Improvements
๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ Street & Sidewalk Improvements

First, we want to thank everyone who took the time to complete and submit a survey. We have carefully read through every submission. Many of you included comments about specific issues around town. If your comment was related to a work order or maintenance item, please know that we are working through those as well. In fact, our Public Works crew has already responded to four of the issues identified in the surveys and resolved or begun addressing those concerns. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention.

The committee is now moving into the next phase of the process.

Over the coming weeks:
โœ”๏ธ We will be reaching out to ODOT to request a meeting regarding the Railroad Overpass/Alternative Route.
โœ”๏ธ The City will be working with engineers to develop project scopes and cost estimates for the Public Water Supply Improvements and Street & Sidewalk Improvements.
โœ”๏ธ The committee also discussed a potential funding approach that would combine sales tax and property tax to help fund the selected project.

This is a thoughtful process, and it will take some time. Before any decisions are made, we want our residents to have the information they need to make an informed choice.

Once we have completed project scopes and reliable cost estimates for all three projects, we will share a presentation outlining each option, along with another community survey so residents can provide feedback on which project they would like to see move forward.

๐Ÿ“… Watch for these presentations and the next survey to be released around the beginning of October.

Thank you again for your participation and for continuing to invest in the future of Mannford. Your input is making a difference, and we look forward to keeping you updated every step of the way.

๐ŸŽ‰ Great News for the Town of Mannford! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are excited to announce that the Town of Mannford has been awarded a $693,820.00 loan with 100% principal forgiveness through the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to help fund the installation of equipment and technology for our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Project.

This is a tremendous achievement for our community! Because this funding is 100% forgivable, the Town will save an estimated $1.3 million compared to the cost of financing this project through a traditional loan.

This award is a major investment in Mannford's future and will help us modernize our water system with advanced metering technology that will improve efficiency, provide better service to our customers, and strengthen our infrastructure for years to come.

This exciting news was officially presented during last night's Town Board meeting, and we wanted to share it with all of you. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this opportunity possible. We look forward to keeping you updated as the AMI project moves forward!

Together, we're building a stronger future for Mannford. ๐Ÿ’œ
