Beginning at approximately 1:00 P.M. Today, Mannford Fire Department will be conducting a prescribed burn along the 31st street electric right of way between the GRDA Substation and the water plant right of way. They will continue down the water plant right of way from 31st street to 41st street. The purpose of this prescribed burn is to create a fire break to protect the southwest boundary of the City of Mannford from potential wildland fires this spring.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Firefighter Harrison Moseby. He has finished his race and has gone home.

“The Tulsa Fire Department is mourning the loss of Firefighter Harrison Moseby who has demonstrated bravery, strength, and unwaiveeing faith during his long battle with cancer.

Harrison exemplifies the never quit determination within all Tulsa Firefighters and he will remain with us forever.

I am personally a better person from my time with Harrison on the TFD. He taught me to live fully each and every day despite the circumstances. He is a true hero.”

This is the only statement that the department will be releasing at this time. We ask that the public and media respect the Moseby family and their Tulsa Fire Department family while they navigate this difficult time.

Thank you for all the support and love you have shown the Air Evac family during this difficult time. It is with a very heavy heart we share that three of our colleagues, Pilot Russell Haslam, Flight Nurse Adam Tebben and Medic Steven FitzGerald passed away in an air accident on the evening of January 20. Please continue to hold all of their families in your hearts. Russell, Adam and Steven, we miss you so much. We’ll take it from here.

Air Evac Lifeteam is heartbroken to report that three crew members have perished in an incident that occurred on Saturday, January 20. At 11:23 pm local time AEL's Operations Control Center (OCC) lost contact with the aircraft, a Bell 206L3 with call sign N295AE. The crew is based out of Weatherford, OK, and was returning to base after completing a patient care transport in Oklahoma City when the OCC lost contact with them. Nearby AEL teams assisted local law enforcement with the search.

Our primary focus is on supporting the families and our team members. CISM teams have been sent to assist our team members during this time. Please reach out if you would like to speak with them.

At this time, we are not sharing the names of the crew members aboard the flight. We ask that you respect the privacy of our team members and their families, and please do not share their names.

AEL has turned over the scene and investigation to the NTSB.
