Your Voice Can Make a Difference.
If you witness a crime, don’t stay silent. Speaking up and reporting what you saw could provide the critical information investigators need to hold offenders accountable.

You may have seen something you didn’t realize was important. Your information could be the key to bringing someone to justice.

If you witness a crime, say something. Speak up. Help keep our community safe.

If you see something, say something. Your voice matters.

A big thank you to the Madera Police Department and the Madera Police Officers Association for inviting the Madera County District Attorney’s Office to be part of this year’s MAD Kids Summer Camp!
We were honored to spend time with students in 4th through 6th grade today, sharing the role of the District Attorney’s Office and connecting with the next generation. It was also great to see our law enforcement partners showcase their equipment, and the MPD K-9 demonstration was a highlight for so many of the campers.
We appreciate the opportunity to be part of a program that helps build positive relationships between our youth and local public safety professionals. Thank you for including us—we’re already looking forward to next year!

Because Californians stepped up and passed Proposition 36, new legislation is moving forward in Sacramento.

AB 2727 would establish more reasonable limits on elder parole eligibility for convicted s*x offenders, helping ensure that public safety and the voices of victims remain central in parole decisions.

Madera County District Attorney Sally Moreno discusses how this legislation is intended to strengthen accountability, enhance community safety, and provide greater confidence that parole decisions are made with the interests of California’s families and victims in mind.
