Exciting News here!! Not only is Baseball season back but so are our LFPD Officers baseball cards back. Kids from Kindergarten to 8th grade listen up, this is a chance to meet our officers, get to know a little about us and a chance to win some $$$. Here is how it works, collect all 34 Officers cards (get a roster card with all officers names from the school) and receive a raffle ticket with a chance to win a $200 dollar gift card, there will be 5 winners. When you collect all 34 Officers cards you will need to bring them in to police headquarters where one of our officers will check then give you a raffle ticket. Raffle drawing will be on September 26th (Family Fun Day) at 3pm at our booth. How to meet the Officers?? You can come by headquarters, if you see any of us at the parks or by the schools. We ask that you DO NOT approach an officer if he is responding to a call or conducting a motor vehicle stop.
We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kevin & David Passante from Royal Printing Services (435 51st St, West NY) for donating all the cards and posters, and to Justin Sung from Cast Iron Pot (250 Bergen Tnpk, Little Ferry) for the prize.

***Seen Anything***
Residents,
Today at 1:55 pm a dark Grey Hyundai Palisades occupied by 2 middle eastern descent males & 2 middle eastern females with face coverings approached a resident on Lakeview Ave. who was cutting his lawn. They asked the victim where Walmart was as 1 female went to place a fake chain around his neck, at this time the male ripped the victim’s original chain off his neck as they both fled into their vehicle which traveled east on Lakeview towards Bergen Turnpike. This is the 2nd incident with the same description to occur in our town. Anyone with information please call us at 201-641-2770.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We also extend our gratitude to the families of the fallen, whose strength and sacrifice are deeply appreciated. As we gather with loved ones this holiday weekend, may we take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything for our freedoms and NEVER FORGET…

Little Ferry Residents,

Short Term Rentals Ord. No. 1522-12-19 are not permitted in Little Ferry. Websites such as Airbnb and Vrbo are closely monitored. Thanks to the cooperation of our residents, along with the efforts of our police and fire departments, the Borough has effectively stopped and fined numerous illegal rentals. In advance of the World Cup games this summer, we expect some will attempt to illegally rent their homes short term in our community and others nearby. This can cause problems for your neighborhood and therefore we need to continue to be proactive. Recently we’ve noticed some owners have become savvy to escape detection. That’s why we need your help!

We encourage you to stay alert and report any suspicious activity. If you believe there is a short-term rental in your neighborhood, please contact the Borough at 201-641-2166 or email us at [email protected]

Together, we can keep Little Ferry a great place to live!

35-122.6 ENFORCEMENT; VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
