We are incredibly proud to celebrate Luke for an outstanding academic achievement! 🎉📚

Luke placed in the Top 20 in the Nation for 6th Grade Social Studies Beta Academic Testing! 🇺🇸🌎🏛️ His hard work, dedication, and love of learning truly paid off, and we could not be more excited for him.

Because of this incredible accomplishment, Luke will now advance to compete at the National Beta Convention this summer! ⭐👏 What an amazing opportunity to represent his school on the national stage.

This achievement reflects dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. Congratulations, Luke! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all you accomplish next!

All medication must be picked up or destroyed at the end of the school year. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:00am will be the last day medication will be given. Please make plans to pick up your child’s medication from the school at that time or whenever your child attends for his/her last day.
The medication CANNOT be sent home with the student. Any unclaimed medication will be destroyed. Children with EPIPENS and Inhalers can NOT check out their EPIPENS/Inhalers until their last day of school. For any questions, call: 337-794-8000. Thank you, Nurse Renee

Moss Bluff Middle Student Council is SO excited to host our very first Bronco Bash on August 5th from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM at MBMS!

Bronco Bash is a fun-filled day created especially for our incoming 6th graders to help them feel comfortable, confident, and excited about starting middle school! Students will have the opportunity to:
✨ Tour the campus
✨ Meet teachers & staff
✨ Learn school procedures
✨ Practice lockers
✨ Meet new friends
✨ Play games & participate in team-building activities
✨ Learn about clubs, sports, and activities at MBMS

This is a student only event!

🍕 Pizza will be available for purchase for lunch ($2 per slice), or students may choose to bring their own lunch.

👕 Optional Bronco Bash shirts will also be available for purchase and may be worn throughout the school year!

📌 IMPORTANT: July 20th is the deadline to order shirts and select pizza options.

Our very own, Mrs. Angela M Guillory is a Semi-Finalist for Louisiana Principal of the Year! 💜💛🤗

Meet Angela Guillory, a 2027 Louisiana Principal of the Year semifinalist from Moss Bluff Middle School in the Calcasieu Parish School Board.

Guillory has more than 21 years of experience in education and led her school to an A letter grade for the first time in its history.

She focuses on instructional growth, teacher and student engagement, and a school environment where students and educators feel supported and ready to succeed.
