Wednesday, March 7, 2018, will forever be a dark day for the Smith family. After leaving a routine check up, a then 18 week pregnant Mallory and her husband, were struck by a police vehicle responding to an emergency situation. Mallory and Andrew lost their unborn daughter, Elia, as a result of the collision. We cannot bring Elia back, but we can make a change for her. Please contact your Louisiana State Representative to demand change be made to the Lousiana Police Department policy and procedures as well as accountability policies regarding emergency vehicle operations.
