A massive thank you to the team of people who worked hard feeding kids all summer. 👏👏

This crew (& others) distributed 40,000 boxes with 560,000 meals to families across the community. ❤️

In the heat 🥵 and rain ☔️, they showed up each week so kids in Calcasieu had access to healthy food.

Good news! Breakfast and lunch will once again be available at no cost for all CPSB students during the 2026-2027 school year. No action is required from families. Our School Nutrition team is getting ready for another great year, and the August menus will be posted soon. Menus are always available on our website at https://bit.ly/4tSUx0a.

☀️Last Day: Summer Meal Boxes☀️

Week 8 boxes will be ready for pickup tomorrow, July 22nd from 8am-1pm.

Please note:

1️⃣ There will not be any onsite registration. Only people who have already registered will receive boxes.

2️⃣ There are a limited number of boxes and we expect to run out. First come, first served.

3️⃣ Be patient with our teams. It’s hot out there. 🥵

4️⃣ If you need to edit your registration, call the School Nutrition Program offices at 337-217-4360.

We hope kids enjoyed the meal boxes and that this program helped our communities. Thank you for a great summer! ☀️

If you have already registered:
✅ Go to the pickup location you selected on your registration (DeQuincy Middle, Vinton Elementary, or LeBleu Settlement)
✅ Bring an ID
✅ Be patient with our teams as we work together to provide food for kids

If you have not registered:
✅ Go to a pickup location
✅ Look for onsite registration signs
✅ Bring an ID
