A little note from Katie, our Executive Director:

“Sometimes God gives us a little reminder that makes us stop. Seeing HOPE in the sunlight on this floor was one of those moments for me. We all need hope.

I thought about the women who walk through our doors unsure of what comes next. Hope begins to feel real when someone listens, a nurse answers her questions, and an advocate helps her find the resources she needs.

It’s baby clothes, parenting classes, and someone praying with her. It’s knowing she doesn’t have to figure it all out alone.

What a privilege we have to meet her there and point her to the HOPE we have in Christ.”

“I want to be a good dad to my child.”

When a father first arrives at HOPE, many don’t want to be a father and have been encouraging the mother of their baby to have an abortion.

But then they meet one of our Hope Dads mentors, who listens as they share their fears. They talk about fatherhood, the help that is available, and the hope found in Jesus.

He leaves with a Bible and someone he can call. He stays connected with Harvey our Hope Dads Director and begins Doctor Dad classes online.

We don’t always see what grows from the seeds God allows us to plant. Sometimes we get a glimpse!

This is why Hope Dads matters. Listening, prayer, practical help, and showing up can make a difference for generations.
