VFW Post 9191 proudly invites the community to join us as we honor the brave men and women who answered the call to serve following 9/11 and who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

From Ground Zero to the front lines, their courage, sacrifice, and commitment helped protect our nation and defend the freedoms we hold dear. This ceremony is an opportunity to come together as a community and say THANK YOU to those who served.

Saturday , VFW Post 9191 was honored to partner with the Killeen Presidents Council to host their annual Backpack Drive at our post. They distribute 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in our community, ensuring they are better prepared for a successful school year.

This event was a great example of what can be accomplished when organizations come together in service to our community. Thank you to the Killeen Presidents Council and everyone who contributed their time and support to make this event a success.

At VFW Post 9191, we remain committed to serving veterans, military families, and our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact and look forward to future partnerships that strengthen Killeen.

Mission Accomplished! 🎒🇺🇸❤️

Today, VFW Post 9191 proudly completed our Backpack Drive, and our hearts are full. Because of the generosity of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, countless students will begin the school year with the supplies they need and the confidence to succeed.

This effort was about more than backpacks—it was about investing in our children, strengthening our community, and showing that when we come together, we can make a lasting difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the VFW Auxiliary and the Belton Blaze Girls Basketball Team for your incredible support, hard work, and servant leadership. Your willingness to give your time and energy is a true reflection of what community service is all about.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and encouraged this mission—thank you. Together, we proved that no act of kindness is too small and that united in service, we can change lives.

Together, we don’t just support our community—we build a brighter future for the next generation.
