Community Support in Action

Comrades, your Post Commander, the Department of Texas Junior Vice Commander, Post Service Officer and other comrades had the privilege of visiting the Killeen Mission Soup Kitchen to present a donation of $600.

This contribution will help support their ongoing mission of providing meals and assistance to members of the Killeen community in need. We are proud to partner with organizations that make a positive impact and help strengthen our community.

Thank you to the Killeen Mission Soup Kitchen for the important work you do every day. Together, we continue to serve veterans, families, and our neighbors throughout Killeen.

VFW Post 9191 proudly presented a plaque of appreciation to Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q in recognition of their generous support in providing food for our post during our Memorial Day observance.

Their kindness, partnership, and commitment to supporting veterans and the local community helped make our Memorial Day activities a success. We are grateful for their contribution and continued support of VFW Post 9191.

Friday, members of VFW Post 9191 and AUX had the privilege of visiting Ira Cross Elementary School to provide a breakfast for the dedicated teachers and staff as a small token of our appreciation for their hard work, commitment, and unwavering support of our students.

Educators play a vital role in shaping the future of our community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to recognize their service and dedication. On behalf of VFW Post 9191, thank you to all the teachers and staff for the positive impact you make every day.
