🇺🇸 On Display on the Jasper Square

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, a special exhibit is now on display in the windows of the Jasper County Appraisal District on the Square.
This display is proudly hosted by the Jasper County Appraisal District and reflects a meaningful collaboration across our community:

✨ Jasper County Historical Museum
✨ Jasper Public Library
✨ Jasper County Historical Commission

Together, these partners have brought history into everyday view—connecting Jasper County to the larger American story through the Texas America250 initiative 🇺🇸

📸 Featured in the group photo (left to right):
Lori Barnett (JCAD), Andrea Williams (Jasper Public Library), Lindsey Cox (Jasper Public Library), Gayle Meigs (JCHC), and Lisa Kotz (JCHM)

These images capture not only the finished exhibit, but the people behind the work—reminding us that preserving history is always a shared effort 🤍
