🌪️ Tornado WATCH or WARNING; Know the difference!

🟡 WATCH = BE PREPARED
Tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area. Monitor weather alerts, review your emergency plan, and know where you’ll take shelter.

🔴 WARNING = TAKE SHELTER NOW
A tornado has been sighted or indicated by radar. If your location is in the warning area, immediately move to a basement or small interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows.

Don’t wait to see a tornado before taking action.

Talk with your family now so everyone knows where to go. Share this reminder to help others prepare.
