Please share and support Evan and his family

Evan is a Junior Fireman with the Catlettsburg Fire Department. In May of this year he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition that led to him having not one, but two artificial pumps in his heart. These operations have came with many complications and Evan is now in the hospital until a donor heart can be found. We ask that if you are able, please consider ordering a t-shirt to help support the “Fighting For Evan Fund”. All proceeds will go directly to Evan and his family to help ease the burden of the mountain of medical bills they have compiled to date and continue to add to. This young man has given every second of his time to serve the community he loves and asked nothing in return, it’s time we rally and give back to him.

We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Ironton police and fire chili cook-off will be Thursday October 15th at the Ironton farmers market from 4:30-6:30pm. We will have live music and free face painting for the kiddos along with fire trucks and police cruisers for the kids to see. This year we had the Ironton high school art class do a little competition to design our flyer you will see around town. Thank you to Ms. Knore and all your Ironton students that participated. Congratulations to Julia Zornes she is our flyer winner! We can’t wait to see everyone at the cook off. If you would like to participate in the chili cook-off please msg this page or contact Zack Kriebel at 740-442-3847. All proceeds from the chili cook-off will go to Lawrence county shop with a cop for kids at Christmas.
