Persist Alabama is proud to endorse Doug Jones for Governor of Alabama.

Doug Jones has spent his career proving what it means to put courage, integrity, and service above politics. As U.S. Attorney, he fought for justice in some of the darkest chapters of Alabama's history, successfully prosecuting two of the men responsible for the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. As a United States Senator, he brought that same commitment to serving the people of Alabama — working across party lines while standing firm for civil rights, voting rights, access to health care, and economic opportunity.

Now, Alabama has a choice about what kind of future we want.

Doug is running to expand Medicaid and protect rural hospitals, strengthen public education, lower costs, expand access to the ballot, create good jobs, and build a state government that answers to the people it serves. Most importantly, he believes there should be a place at the table for every Alabamian.
