🚨 TAKE ACTION FOR SNAP! 🚨 SNAP is Massachusetts’ strongest defense against hunger, but right now, far too many are being left behind. Understaffing at DTA means thousands can’t get the help they need, and food insecurity has reached crisis levels. Despite our best efforts, the legislature has not increased funding for DTA.

Now it’s up to Governor Healey. Pick up the phone and urge her to strengthen SNAP and ensure no one goes hungry. Let’s make our voices impossible to ignore! Join us: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/ZAK_teS-T-q04dWgBPPuNw #/registration

Community Action, Inc. is proud to be part of the Head Start story - committed to Head Start families, Head Start staff, and community partners.

Sharing your story is a meaningful way for your voice to be heard and for the community to better understand how Head Start services support children and families. The National Head Start Association (NHSA) invites you to share your story here: https://hubs.la/Q04lW-F10.

🎂🇺🇸 Head Start turns 61 this year, and America is preparing to celebrate its 250th birthday on the Fourth of July.

Anniversaries give us a chance to reflect on what has helped our nation grow and thrive. For more than six decades, Head Start has been part of that story.

By helping children learn, supporting working families, and creating opportunities for future generations, Head Start reflects one of America's foundational ideals — that where you start in life should not determine how far you can go.

As we celebrate our nation's past and look toward its future, we want to hear from you. Share your Head Start story and tell us how this program helped create opportunities for you, your family, or our country: https://hubs.la/Q04lW-F10
