Manufacturing Month may be coming to an end, but our commitment to building awareness, strengthening partnerships, and supporting our local workforce continues year-round!

Manufacturing is more than just making products- it's about innovation, technology, skilled careers, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Here in Northeast Missouri, our manufacturing employers play a vital role in strengthening our local economy, supporting families, and providing rewarding career opportunities.

At HREDC, we're proud to work alongside local manufacturers, educators, and workforce partners to help connect students and future workers with these opportunities.

Workforce development is always in motion- even with our youngest future workforce ❤️‍🩹

The Workforce Team recently enjoyed another visit to the library, where we read Bear Goes to the Doctor and explored careers in Healthcare.

Our little learners got hands-on experience using real and pretend medical supplies to care for their stuffed animal patients 🧸

It's never too early to introduce kids to the many careers in our community!

Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed.

May we continue to carry forward that spirit of service, compassion, and community.
