Tonight, the United Way of the Mark Twain Area Board of Directors came together to provide, prepare, and serve at Loaves and Fishes โ one of our Community Impact partner programs โ and we were reminded once again that giving can look like many different things.
Tonight, ๐ด๐ด ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ were provided through Loaves and Fishes, a program of Harvest Outreach Ministries. Each Monday through Friday evening work the support of various community groups, Loaves and Fishes provides a free, hot meal to anyone who needs one in downtown Hannibal.
Our Board works hard to support the United Way because we believe United Way can be a ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐น โ bringing people, resources, organizations and generosity together to help make good work come to life in our community.
๐ช๐ฒ ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ช๐ฎ๐.

Because giving isnโt always writing a check. Sometimes itโs sharing your time. Sometimes itโs volunteering. Sometimes itโs showing up. Sometimes itโs supporting an organization doing important work. And sometimes itโs simply saying, โHow can I help?โ
As we move through this yearโs campaign, our Board is hopeful to establish ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ alongside our Community Impact partner agencies โ creating more opportunities for us to ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ, not only through financial support, but through our time, talents and hands.
