After 23 years at the TD Saturday Market presented by Prisma Health, last Saturday marked the final market day for May Farms. Owner Buddy May, a Certified Master Beekeeper, has been part of the market family since 2004 💚
“It’s hard to put into words what has developed over 23 years of being a part of the market. I’ve enjoyed meeting and talking to all the people, and I’ll miss the companionship,” Buddy shared.
Throughout the years, Buddy has made a lasting impact on the community and his fellow vendors. Debra Varvaro who has operated Miss Bee Haven, a nearby booth, reflected on his kindness and passion for beekeeping, sharing, “Buddy is a smart, caring person who absolutely loves bees! His passion became mine, and throughout the years, I’ve always gone to him with questions or for advice.”
While Buddy may be retiring from the market, you can still support May Farms by ordering local honey for pickup! 🍯 Visit their page May Farms LLC for contact info to place an order.
Thank you, Buddy and May Farms, for 23 years of sweet memories and a lasting legacy at the market. You’ll bee missed! 🐝💛 Read more at https://bit.ly/488RSFS
