๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’โ›น๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ Bon Secours Wellness Arena is set to undergo a $282 million transformation after the Cityโ€™s Design Review Board (DRB) approved a renovation and addition project.

The Greenville Arena District will modernize the entrances, elevate the visitor experience, expand the buildingโ€™s footprint and prepare the campus for future amenities including a new amphitheater.

The renovation keeps the arenaโ€™s iconic rounded shape but introduces new architectural forms. Renderings show a reimagined west lobby, a new two-story terrace on the northwest side and improved secondary entrances that will better guide foot traffic.

New building coming to the heart of Main Street. ๐Ÿ’š Plans for a proposed five-story building at South Main and Court streets are approved by the Design Review Board.

The project would be built on an existing private parking lot between Crust & Craft and the old Chamber of Commerce building, across the street from the Westin Poinsett Hotel, behind McBee plaza. It could include offices, apartments and underground parking.

The DRB approved the overall shape and size of the building, architectural details and upgrades to the nearby sidewalk and plaza with a few conditions, including a request to look at ways to improve windows and lighting.
