Even though school is out for the summer, a few of our middle school students came back to help kick off our Continuing Conservation Project! 🌿🦊

Students worked hard to build a fox den, plant native trees and butterfly bushes, create a wildlife seed line around the fence, and capture “before” photos using our drone. This project is designed to continue growing and evolving each year as students help create a healthier habitat for local wildlife.

We’re excited to watch this conservation area develop over time, and we can’t wait to share updates from our wildlife cameras as we wait for new animal visitors to arrive!

Community service is not just about serving people. It is also about caring for and protecting the wildlife and environment around us. 🐾🌎

GMS DC '26 Day 4 & Final Stop-American History Museum. This year, we did a photo scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Congrats to Rooker Stark and Haydn Faulconer who won first prize and $25 each and then to Ross Roman and Gatlin Secrist who won second place and $20 each!
