🚨🚨🚨 PRESS RELEASE 🚨🚨🚨

On September 12th, 2026 at 6:51pm while members of the Paint Creek Joint EMS & Fire District were on the scene of flooding in the area of 200 N. 11th Street in Greenfield, Ohio, we had a firefighter get pulled into a culvert pipe. The firefighter was pulled 179 feet through the culvert coming out on the other side. The firefighter sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene and transported to the emergency room. He is expected to be discharged to home. While we are excited about the outcome, we are concerned as to how this happened. We will be reviewing this incident and will be working on solutions to prevent this situation from happening again in the future. Thank you to those that assisted during this incident and to everyone who has reached out to check on our crews.

🔥🔥🔥 STRUCTURE FIRE🔥🔥🔥

At approximately 0600 hours this morning, crews were dispatched to Standard Aero for a reported fire involving the filters of an exterior dust collection system. Upon arrival, crews observed smoke coming from the exterior dust collector. Firefighters quickly located and contained the fire while also working to mitigate smoke conditions inside the facility. The incident was brought under control without further extension, and no injuries were reported.
