🎃👻 Join us for the Annual Paint Creek Firefighters Local 4811 Halloween Parade! 👻🎃
October 28th at 6pm downtown Greenfield.
Line up for the parade starts at 5pm on 5th street in front of the school
The parade will go down Jefferson and up N Washington and stop in front of the old firehouse.
Get ready for spooky fun and family-friendly festivities! 🧡
After the parade, stick around for our Costume Contest, judged by the Greenfield Mother's Club — show off your most creative, spooky, or hilarious costumes! 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️👑
Awards for top 3 costumes in each class for children under the age of 18
🎃 Enjoy Safe Trick-or-Treating at all the local businesses — a perfect way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family!
✨ Fun, candy, costumes, and community — what more could you ask for?
We can't wait to see you there!

Political floats will be encouraged to make a donation of $40.00 per float and business are encouraged to make a donation as well.

The time you’ve been waiting for is here! Our station logo contest is complete and the shirts are in! We could not be happier with the outcome and are very grateful for the participation and support we received from the schools! Picture below are the winners with their illustrations! These shirts will be available for purchase beginning next week (3/20/23). if you would like the Station 21 (Greenfield) shirt please stop in at our station at 640 N Washington street in Greenfield, if you would like the station 23 (Hillsboro) shirt, please stop in at station 23 at 204 N East street in Hillsboro and we will gladly take care of you. The shirts will be 20 dollars each! come grab your shirt and support your local fire department and sport the design from these amazing artists. Stock is limited, but don’t worry we will have more!

After a long wait We finally have an update on the T-shirt designs and are very happy to announce that the winners are Anna Eikenberry from Greenfield and Brookelyn Price from Hillsboro! These designs were selected from a pool and they will receive a copy of the T-shirt when completed! Below are the designs selected and these designs were then sent out to be professionally illustrated and digitized to be placed on shirts which will be available for purchase and will be worn by duty crews! The finished designs will maintain the original concept of the art but will differ. The original designs will be proudly displayed at the stations.

Your Paint Creek Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4811 have been busy! McClain High School and Hillsboro High School students were asked to compete in a contest to design a logo for Station 21 (Greenfield) and Station 23 (Hillsboro) to place on shirts that the crews can wear while on duty. We had an amazing turnout and are very happy with the results! These shirts will also be available for purchase for the general public when complete! Keep your eyes out for the announcement of the winners and information on availability and how to purchase your copy of the shirt!

We wanted to update everyone on the fundraiser that was posted to this page. It has since been removed, and will not be reposted. We are working on getting everyone’s contact information together to send a message to everyone who has donated to Local 4811.

As many are aware, and some may not be, there is a live burn with live fire training coming up. The Local 4811 is sponsoring a live burn in memory of Joe Patterson to provide training opportunities for area departments. The burn will take place on 6-5-21 off of Rocky Fork Circle. This house is also available for all departments to train in prior to it being burnt. If you would like to schedule a day to train contact me to schedule it. On 6-5-21 the house will be burnt for training for any firefighters that show up to train. We plan to start at 0800 and progress through the day.
Here is what I need from you:

Share this information with surrounding departments.
Let me know by 5-31-21 how many people are coming and what apparatus you are willing to send. I will let you know by 6-2-21 what apparatus based off of this I need.
If you are or have an instructor (1403 preferred) and are going to be there.

Here is what we will provide:
Heat, Smoke, and real fire experience with some search and rescue built in.
Lunch, drinks, and snacks

I need fairly accurate counts in order to develop the burn plan and to supply enough refreshments.
