Hello Pinnacle Pack,

As we get settled into our new school year, we would like for you to meet Cassie Michel. As part of our series "Why Work at Pinnacle?" we stopped by our Elementary School to find out a little
more about our educators.

Cassie is a first grade teacher at Pinnacle and has been teaching here for 3 years. She shares,
"I stay at Pinnacle because of the strong sense of community and supportive work environment.
I love my team, our supportive administration, and my students. During my years at Pinnacle, I have grown so much through coaching cycles and the collaborative support that helps me become a better teacher so students can learn and grow. I also value being part of the wider K-12 community by helping with the drama club and seeing students from 3rd-12th grade work together to put on a musical. Pinnacle is a great place to grow as an educator and continue developing your craft.”

We are incredibly thankful for everything she does, from classroom to theater and everything in between.

Hello Pinnacle Pack,

This Monday we had our first Open House of the year!

We got to see familiar faces and meet new families joining the Pinnacle Pack. This event welcomed everyone back to school, where families had the chance to greet their teachers, walk our hallways, and learn about resources to stay connected with the Pinnacle community.

Wednesday marked the first day of school and it was a total success! Now that the first day of school is officially in the books, it's important to stay connected: our new website and ParentSquare will keep you up to date with the latest news and updates.

Hello Pinnacle Pack,

Last week was the first week back for our staff! It's great to see new and returning faces back at Pinnacle. Teachers, counselors, and other staff members made their way back to our hallways, and you could see the enthusiasm and excitement on their faces to get back in their classrooms and watch our students grow!

Speaking of growing, our staff also had the opportunity to do a little learning themselves. We invited Jimmy Casas to our school, and over the course of two hours, he not only lifted our spirits but pushed us to evaluate how we approach our work. It was a powerful moment. As we step into this next school year, we ask ourselves: what is the promise we want to make to our students?

The promise to educate, give, and prepare. But beyond that, that promise comes from us, and it's one we don't want to break.

Stay tuned with us throughout the year to see the wonderful things our students get to experience.

Our yearly leadership retreat is officially here!

After months of planning, we're taking time to learn, collaborate, and connect. This year marks our operations team is joining the academic team on the retreat for the very first time, bringing fresh perspectives into what we can offer across every department.

We can't wait to bring these new ideas back to our Pinnacle Pack and get ready for an amazing 2026-27 school year.

Mr. Brett Geraghty has been with us for over 26 years! His passion for sharing history with our students has always been what makes him happy.

We’re so glad to have him on our team.

Want to learn an incredible fact? He’s been with us long enough that his first students are now sending their kids to Pinnacle; he’s now teaching two generations at Pinnacle.
