💜🩵 **Mental Health Awareness Day Reminder** 🩵💜
Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, the Met will recognize Mental Health Awareness Day! Students do not need to wear their uniforms. Instead, we invite our entire school community to wear purple and teal as a sign of support for mental health awareness.

Please remember that all students must still follow our regular dress code expectations.

Our after school clubs start next week! Payments need to be made on the first day of the club in order for registration to be complete.

💜🩵 Wear Teal & Purple on September 8! 🩵💜

In honor of 988 Day, the Met invites all students, staff, families, and community members to wear teal and purple on September 8 as we come together to support mental health awareness and remind everyone that help is available.

What is 988?
The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anyone experiencing emotional distress, a mental health or substance-use crisis, suicidal thoughts, or simply needing someone to talk with can call or text 988 or chat at [988lifeline.org] (https://988lifeline.org/). Families may also contact 988 when they are concerned about a friend or loved one.

Together, we can help remove the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage others to seek support, and remind every member of our community: You are not alone.

Let’s fill the Met with teal, purple, hope, and support on September 8! 💜🩵

At the Met, the arts and academics come together—empowering students to create, discover, perform, and achieve at the highest level. We are student-centered, arts-focused and community driven!

This would not be possible without the countless hours of volunteering from our community, our incredible staff and their commitment to high academic expectations and to our incredible learners who show up every day ready to give their very best!
