The League is committed to helping these schools reach higher levels of quality and overall success. That’s also true of the public school family. We're so proud of this year's finalists for 2027 of the Year, especially Ms. Walker from North Routt Community Charter School. Ms. Walker teaches English language arts + + has been teaching for 15 years.

A member of the school's committee + a mentor teacher, she holds a bachelor’s degree in from Ohio University,+ a master’s degree in teaching and learning: curriculum and instruction from Nova Southeastern University.
