The County Commissioners are the executive branch of government for Vanderburgh County.

The three commissioners, President Justin Elpers, Vice-President Amy Canterbury, and Member Mike Goebel, live in different districts in the county and are elected countywide. Districts 1 and 3 are elected in Presidential election years, and District 2 is elected in Presidential mid-term election years.

Please be advised that Volkman Road will be closed between Baseline Road and Seven Hills Road tomorrow, October 28th for road work. This area will be closed from 8:00am to 3:00 pm. Please be advised that South Weinbach Avenue will be closed between the Levee and River Road Monday October 26th and Tuesday October 27th for paving. This area will be closed from 6:00am Monday until 8:00am Wednesday. The road will not open during the overnight hours. This road will be closed to all traffic. Please avoid this area and plan on taking an alternate route.
