Fingerprinting Services:
Please bring all appropriate forms associated with obtaining ink prints or Live Scans. You can call the Colma Police Dispatch 650.997.8321 to schedule your appointment and to ensure you have all appropriate paperwork. This paperwork is usually provided by your employer or

the agency requesting the ink prints or Live Scan. Ink Prints:
Colma Residents and Businesses: Tuesday through Saturday 7am-3pm
Non-Colma Residents: Tuesday 10am-12pm and Thursday 12:30pm-2:30pm
1. Use black ink to fill out the card.
3. You must provide print card(s). Cost: $20.00 per card

Live Scan:
Effective September 22, 2015, there is a change to the Live Scan hours and fees:

Live Scans are available by appointment only and can be made two weeks in advance. Appointments are available during the days/times listed below. No Live Scan services will be provided on holidays. Tuesday 10am-12pm
Thursday 1pm-3pm
Saturday 9am-11am
1. Must have photo identification with you.
2. You must provide 3 copies of the “Request for Live Scan Service” form.
3. The form must be completed prior to your arrival. Cost: $30.00 plus any applicable Department of Justice/Federal Bureau of Investigation/other charges. Copies of Police Reports and Photographs:
An application for a police report can be downloaded from the forms tab. Cost: $10.00 for a police report, $5.00 for a CAD report, $20.00 per set of 12 report photograph reprints. Attorney Requests for Audio/Video:
Cost: $25.00 per copy of one of the following audio cassette, video tape, CD-R, or DVD-R. (Fees are to be paid in advance)

Vehicle Release/Recovery:
Please bring the Notice of Stored Vehicle slip with you when claiming your vehicle from the Colma Police Department. Cost: $80.00 fee which does not apply towards towing/storage fees. Citation/Ticket Sign-Off:
The Colma Police Department will sign off a correctable violation citation/ticket 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cost: The $10.00 fee applies to any citation/ticket NOT issued by the Colma Police Department. Town of Colma residents can have a citation issued by any agency signed off for free. Public Records and Information Requests:
The public has a right to request public information from the Town of Colma. Applicants are not required to fill out this form. The Colma Police Department has the duty to assist the applicant in filling out the form. A form can be downloaded from our forms tab. Voluntary Fi***rm Registration:
The form to voluntary register your hand guns with the Department of Justice can be downloaded from our forms tab. Business Contact Registration:
The purpose of this form is to help the Police Department protect your property. This form is confidential and if the information is not legible we will be unable to contact you or your representative in case of an emergency. You can download the form from our forms tab. Child Seat Installation:
Please call the Colma Police Department to schedule an appointment. In order to insure proper installation please bring the owner’s manual to your vehicle and the manual to your child safety seat. It is preferred that the child is present during the installation to ensure a proper fit. Appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 8am-3pm and Wednesdays between 8am-12pm

Colma Resident, Merchant, or Guest Parking Permit:
The Town of Colma has restricted parking hours applicable to B, C, D, E, F Streets and Clark Avenue. Unless you are a qualified resident or merchant fronting one of these streets and hold a valid permit, you may not park longer than two hours between the hours of 8am-9pm Monday-Saturday. Resident Permits:
You may acquire a permit for each vehicle that is properly registered to a Colma address in the preferential parking area. To obtain a permit, the registered owner will need to bring a valid driver’s license listing the qualified Colma address and the current vehicle registration to the Colma Police Department. The driver’s license and registration must show the same address (special note: any vehicles with an incomplete registration will not be issued a permit). Parking permits are valid only for the years noted on the permit. New permits are to be obtained every two years. Merchant Permits:
Qualified merchants fronting one of the streets in the preferential parking areas may acquire one permit for the principal vehicle used in the business. Please bring your current vehicle registration to the Colma Police Department and proof of employment. Guest Permits:
Two guest permits may be issued to each qualified dwelling unit fronting one of the streets in the preferential parking areas. Guest permits are valid only for the years noted on the permit. Guest permits cannot be used for vehicles registered to a Colma address. Parking permits must be affixed to the outside of the front or rear windshield in the proper location. Permits not placed in the proper location, will be voided and you can be subject to a citation. Permits are non-transferable. New vehicles without license plates must be issued an individual temporary parking permit which will be assigned to that specific vehicle. Guest permits are not to be used on these vehicles. To obtain a temporary permit, please bring the Bill of Sale that shows the qualified Colma address and a valid driver’s license that shows the same name and address to the Colma Police Department. Qualified residents and merchants on these streets may acquire permits at the Colma Police Department. When: Every day from 9am-10pm, except holidays.

On today’s episode of Misdemeanor Monday, we’re going back to Saturday, August 29, 2026, when CPD officers made a DUI arrest following a traffic stop.

At approximately 2:09 a.m. on August 29, CPD officers stopped a Honda Accord after it failed to stop at the controlled intersection of Hillside Boulevard and F Street. During the stop, as the CPD officer exited his patrol vehicle, the situation escalated. The driver of the Honda shifted the vehicle into reverse. Despite the officer's immediate commands to stop, the driver continued backing up and collided with the parked patrol vehicle. The officer quickly intervened, opened the driver's door, removed him from the vehicle, and safely placed him in handcuffs. During the interaction, the driver displayed clear signs of alcohol impairment and refused both field sobriety and chemical testing. Officers obtained a judge approved blood draw warrant and collected a blood sample. During incident to arrest search of the Honda, officers discovered an open bottle of tequila inside.

The 35-year-old San Francisco resident was subsequently transported to county jail and booked for DUI.

On today’s episode of Felony Friday, we go back to Saturday, 08/29/2026. At approximately 8:44 PM, Colma Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Mission Road on a report of a male throwing rocks at a residence facility. An Officer arrived on scene and contacted a male that matched the description given. Upon contact, the male was immediately confrontational and aggressive towards the officer.

The male walked away from the officer and began running in the roadway, impeding traffic. The male then ran to a nearby trashcan where he removed a large wooden mop and threatened the officer with it. The officer ordered the male to drop the wooden mop, which the male complied. The male then threatened to take the officers fi***rm from him and advanced towards the officer.

As the male approached the officer, the officer grabbed onto his left arm. The male started to resist and a struggle ensured. The male attempted to swing his arm at the officer causing both the officer and the male to fall on the ground. Once on the ground, the male continued to resist. With the help of arriving Colma Officers, they were able to overcome his resistance and placed him in handcuffs. The male continued fighting with officers and with the help of responding South San Francisco Police Officers, the male was ultimately placed in restraints to ensure his safety.

The 45-year-old South San Francisco resident, was arrested for obstructing/resisting a peace officer using intimidation, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, battery on a peace officer and disorderly conduct. He was transported and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

On today's episode of Felony Friday, we go to Thursday, 08/27/26. At approximately 4:54 PM, Colma Officers were dispatched to Kohls, located at 1200 El Camino Real, on a report of a theft that just occurred. Officers were advised a male stole makeup products and was last seen walking southbound on El Camino Real.

Officers arrived on scene and located a male matching the description given near a bus stop at the corner of southbound El Camino Real and Serramonte Boulevard. Upon seeing the patrol vehicle, the male started running southbound El Camino Real and back into the Kohls parking lot. After a brief foot pursuit, the male was detained without further incident.

The male was positively identified by Kohls Loss Prevention as the male that stole. It was later determined the male stole $615.30 worth of makeup. When officers asked the male his name, he gave a false name. Further investigation revealed his true name, and a DMV records check by Colma Dispatchers revealed he had a $40,000 felony warrant for his arrest from a neighboring agency.

The 42-year-old San Leandro resident was arrested for obstruction and resisting arrest, giving false identification to an officer, shoplifting, and his felony warrant. He was issued a citation for our charges and released into the custody of detectives from the agency his felony warrant was out of.

On today's episode of Felony Friday, we go to Sunday, 08/23/26. At approximately 2:21 PM, Colma Officers were conducting a passing check of the Metro Mall Shopping Center, when they were flagged down by the Loss Prevention Officer at Marshalls regarding a theft in progress. The loss prevention officer told Colma Officers a known theft subject was currently in the store concealing merchandise.

Colma Officers waited outside Marshalls and upon the male exiting the store with the unpaid merchandise, they contacted and detained him. It was later determined the male stole $451.40 worth of clothing. A DMV records check by Colma Dispatchers revealed the male had a $50,000 felony warrant for his arrest from a neighboring county. It was also determined the male had two prior theft convictions.

The 47-year-old San Francisco resident was arrested for theft with priors, shoplifting, and his felony warrant. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

08/25/2026

On today’s episode of Misdemeanor Monday, we go back to Saturday, 08/15/2026. At approximately 8:57 PM, Colma Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Mission Road on a report of a solo vehicle accident. Officers arrived on scene and observed a motorcycle had crashed into two parked vehicles.

They located the male driver next to the motorcycle. Upon contacting the male, Officers detected the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person and he displayed the objective signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Due to the extent of the vehicle accident, the male was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The 56-year-old South San Francisco resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was cited and released into the care of the hospital and his motorcycle was towed.

08/17/2026

On today’s episode of Misdemeanor Monday, we go back to Monday, 08/03/2026. At approximately 9:33 PM, Colma Officers received an automated license plate reader notification of a vehicle entering Colma that had been used in a theft from Target on 07/27/2026 and 07/29/2026. Officers canvassed the area and located the vehicle parked in the Target parking lot.

They observed a male get into the vehicle and drive out of the Target parking lot. Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop after observing traffic violations. Upon contact with the male driver, he admitted he had just stolen from Target and was detained. During a search of the vehicle, the stolen merchandise from Target was located.

Target Loss Prevention Officers responded to the location and positively identified the male as the subject that had stolen from Target on both 07/27/2026 and 07/29/2026. It was later determined the male had just stolen $674.60 worth of merchandise.

Darwin Rodasumanzor, a 25-year-old San Francisco resident, was arrested for shoplifting. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail and his vehicle was towed.

08/15/2026

On today's episode of Felony Friday, we go to Thursday, 08/13/26. At approximately 5:16 PM, Colma Officers were dispatched to Home Depot, located at 2 Colma Boulevard, on a report of a theft that just occurred. Officers were advised a male stole tools and was last seen running northbound on Junipero Serra Boulevard towards Metro Mall.

Officers arrived on scene and located a male matching the description given walking in front of Ross. As officers contacted the male, he fled on foot towards Office Depot. After a brief foot pursuit, the male was detained without further incident.

The male was positively identified by Home Depot Loss Prevention as the male that stole. It was later determined the male stole $183.83 worth of tools. When officers asked the male his name, he gave a false name. Further investigation revealed his true name, and a DMV records check by Colma Dispatchers revealed he had a $50,000 felony warrant for his arrest from a neighboring county. During a search of the male and his property incident to arrest, a credit card not in his name and drug paraphernalia were located. It was also determined the male had two prior theft convictions.

Gabriel Garcia, a 24-year-old San Francisco resident, was arrested theft with priors, obstruction and resisting arrest, giving false identification to an officer, shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and his felony warrant. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

William was located in San Mateo and has been reunited with family.

Per security footage, William was seen getting off a SamTrans bus at the Daly City Bart station on 8/13/26 at 7:15 PM.

MISSING PERSON AT RISK – On 08/13/2026 at approximately 9:23 PM. Colma Officers responded to a business in the 200 block of Collins Avenue on a report of a missing 88-year-old male, William Marquardt. Officers were advised William left the business on foot in an unknown direction. He was last seen at approximately 6:41 PM.

William is a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, 210 pounds, with white/grey hair, blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue puffer jacket, orange shirt, dark blue pants, and dark shoes. William suffers from dementia.
