On May 6, the annual San Mateo County Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony was held in Redwood City, bringing together agencies from across the county to honor officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

During the ceremony, we paid tribute to two members of the Daly City Police Department who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting the Daly City community: Officer Richard Klass, End of Watch 06/09/1966, and Officer John Doyle, End of Watch 12/23/1936. We also honored Officer Franklin Robertson of the Bayshore City Police Department, End of Watch 03/14/1933.

We remain grateful for their service, courage, and dedication to protecting the public. Their sacrifice and commitment to our community will never be forgotten.
