Kiskatom Fire Department is located at 4838 Rt 32, Kiskatom in the Town of Catskill. Incorporated in 1946. 100 % volunteer!!

We have 5 pieces of apparatus and serve our community 24/7, 365 days a year.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This October, two of our members, one in the department and one in our Auxiliary, lost their dear daughter-in-law Amanda Enck to cancer. We honored her by changing our Facebook profile.

Several asked if we were going to make up shirts. It wasn't the plan but after discussion, we decided what a great way to raise some money for the Enck family and have also included the Greene County Women's Cancer League.

So here is the link you can order from. We will run this for the month of November. Shirts will be printed on Dec 1st. You can pick up at Round Top Knit & Screening or have it shipped to your house . (All info is in the link).

Maybe you came for take outs or maybe you came for eat-in for our Annual chicken BBQ.

Whatever way, we truly thank you for all of your support. It's a lot of work that not only is successful by what our members, both dept. And ladies aux. do But from YOU, our community for supporting it! THANKS!!❣️

It was a beautiful day in Ashland and we all had a great time.

We won 1st place Men 11-15 in line
1st place Ladies Aux 8-10 in line
2nd place Truck trophy 13-20 yrs old and our band, The Ghent Band, won 1st place musical unit!!

We also won 2 plaques for quarterly meeting attendance.

Thank you Ashland Fire Dept for hosting a great convention where we can all gather together for some comradery (and a little competition too 😉)

Tonight we participated in the Mardi Gras parade in Ashland. They are hosting the Greene County Vol Firefighters convention.

Theme was celebrating 250 years. We did a float representing the signing of the Declaration of Independence! Everyone looked great! Tomorrow is the dress parade starting at 2. Hope to see you there!!

Thank you -Busch and for the generous donation of emergency drinking water, and to Dutchess B**r Distributors for delivering it to our fire station! This water will help keep our firefighters hydrated during our operations, whether it's during the summer or other months!
