The state continues to be in an unprecedented drought and is dangerously dry outside. Outdoor burning is still NOT permitted in Cabot as well as the county and most of the state.

Please refrain from any outdoor burning of any type.

Also note, “Google” and AI are NOT good sources for looking up Burn Ban information. Please refer directly to posted signs at all fire stations, the city municipal complex sign, as well as the Arkansas Forestry Commission site with map shown below. These are the most up to date, and as always, you can call the Cabot Fire Dept non-emergency number or the Lonoke County Emergency Call Center’s non-emergency number as well. https://mip.agri.arkansas.gov/agtools/Forestry/Fire_Info?do:showBurnBans
