With Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7, our administrative offices are closed and facility hours might be a little different, but we still have plenty of options to stay active. Here are the details:
• Cabot Aquatic Park Open Noon to 6 p.m. (Last day open!)
• Cabot Parks & Recreation Administrative Offices Closed
• Game Time At The Grounds Open Noon to 6 p.m.
• Richie Road Park Splash Pad Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

🦆💙 Love our Community Park Pond? Help us take care of it.

Our pond is a favorite place to fish, walk, run, enjoy nature and spend time with family. But keeping it beautiful, clean and safe takes all of us.

🌿 Give wildlife space. Please do not feed the ducks or geese. Feeding wildlife can cause unhealthy behavior, create dependence on people and contribute to problems for the animals and the pond.

🐾 Keep pets on a leash and always clean up after them.

🎣 Fish responsibly. Follow Arkansas Game & Fish regulations and place used fishing hooks and line in the collection tubes around the pond.

🗑️ Pack it in, pack it out. Use trash receptacles and please pick up anything you bring with you.

🚫 Remember, the pond is not for swimming, wading, boats or watercraft. Bikes and skateboards are not permitted on the walking trail, and feeding ducks and geese is prohibited.

⏰ Community Park Pond hours are now 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Most importantly, please leave the pond better than you found it. A little consideration from each of us helps protect the wildlife, preserve the pond and keep this beautiful space enjoyable for everyone. 🦆🌳💙

Do you have food-service experience and the leadership skills to make things run? Come lead concessions, the Game Time at the Grounds Café and gate operations for Cabot Parks & Recreation.

In this role, you’ll:
🍔 Lead daily food & concession operations
👥 Hire, schedule and supervise staff
💰 Manage POS, sales, budgets and financial reporting
📦 Oversee inventory, ordering and food-service needs
🎪 Coordinate catered events and special functions
📈 Find ways to improve operations and grow revenue

We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ Food service or concession experience
✔️ Supervisory experience preferred
✔️ Valid driver’s license
✔️ CPR certification
✔️ ServSafe or food safety certification

The Richie Road Park Splash Pad’s LAST DAY is Tuesday, Sept. 8! ☀️

The Splash Pad is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 8.

Beginning Sept. 1, parks throughout Cabot will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. until further notice!

This is a permanent change and is not tied to Daylight Saving Time, the time of year or seasonal schedule changes. ☀️🍂❄️🌷

Our American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor/Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer Recertification Course is happening Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Cabot Aquatic Park.
