🎃🍬 TRUNK OR TREAT FUN! 👻🚗

Last night, Barrington Schools hosted their annual Trunk or Treat event, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors for a fun-filled evening of Halloween festivities!

Mayor Hanson, Councilwoman Mercado-Miller, and Councilwoman VanBernum joined in on the fun, handing out candy from their decorated trunk alongside our Police, Fire, EMS and Public Works personnel, as well as so many wonderful parents and community members who helped make the evening special!

A big thank you to Barrington Parent & Teacher Group for organizing another fantastic event and to everyone who participated in making it a memorable night for our youngest residents!

🎃 We love seeing our community come together to celebrate traditions like these! 🍭👻

🍝 Good Food, Great Company, and Even Better Conversation!

Last night, Mayor Hanson and Borough Council hosted our annual Fall Spaghetti Dinner for our Barrington seniors!

It was a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs. Events like these are a great opportunity to come together, catch up with familiar faces, and celebrate the wonderful seniors who are such an important part of our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success! We’re already looking forward to the next one! ❤️

Loose-leaf pickup season began the first week of October and will end the last week of December, weather permitting. Leaf signs will be posted the week prior to the district’s scheduled pick up. Please place the leaves on the park strip between the curb and sidewalk. Do not put sticks, rocks, or any other debris in leaf piles, as this can cause damage to the machines and create safety concerns for our employees. If debris is left in piles, the pile will not be picked up. Leaf crews will make one pass-through on your scheduled pickup week and will not return due to leaves being put out late. Due to NJDEP storm water regulations and Borough ordinances, loose leaves are not to be placed within 10 feet of any storm drain inlet along the street.

🎃👻 TONIGHT ONLY! 👻🎃

Be sure to stop by 212 Courtney Drive from 6-9pm to check out a special Halloween walk-through display!

Barrington resident 8-year-old Blake put his creativity and Halloween spirit to work decorating this spooky display and wants to invite the community to come enjoy it!

But the best part? Blake is suggesting a small donation from visitors, which he plans to donate to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to help make sure the children there can enjoy a fun and spooky Halloween, too! 🧡

What an incredible gesture from one of our youngest residents! Let’s show Blake some Barrington love and support his thoughtful effort to spread Halloween cheer to children who could use a little extra joy this season!

🎃 Stop by tonight, enjoy the display, and support a great cause!
