Save the date: Movie Matinees are back:
Did you know that on the last Saturday of every month at 2pm we show a fun Family Movie! Enjoy a theater experience without the cost. Bring a beverage (we will provide the popcorn) and join us in the lower level of the branch.
If you are looking for the perfect family movie in September, this newly released, animated hit is an absolute must-watch. Follow the hilarious hijinks of these small, banana-loving henchmen as they try to serve the world's most despicable villains. LOL expected throughout!

Rooted in Friendship Garden Club: September Meetups! Ready to roll up your sleeves and enjoy the morning with great company? Our garden club has two exciting meetups lined up for September, and we’d love for you to join us! September 5th at 10:00 AM, we will do some cleanup and plant some beautiful fresh mums to kick off the fall season! September 26th at 10:00 AM, help us winterize the Hummingbird Reading Garden so it stays protected and ready for spring. Come for the plants, stay for the friendship. See you there!

We’ve read Fredrik Backman’s A Man Called Ove, we've got the popcorn ready, and now it’s time to watch the adaptation and see how it measures up. Will the movie capture Ove's signature grumpy charm? Is the stray cat just as perfect onscreen? We're about to find out! Tonight, Tuesday, 9/1 at 7 PM! Can't wait to see you all there for some great discussion and plenty of popcorn!

If you haven't been by, we still have two large carts of books to browse for $2 per bag.

Edited: Since we have such a plethra of used books for our sale shelves, starting Monday, August 17th our perpetual book sale will become a bag sale, we will provide a bag and you can fill it for $2. The sale will last as long as we have materials to put out and we will be filling the shelves regularly. This is not the annual book sale for the Friends just a small perpetual pop up!
