We apologize to everyone who was expecting the food truck today. Unfortunately, there was a scheduling error at the food bank office, and the food truck was not able to come today.

We understand this may have caused some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion. ❤️

We are working to get a new date scheduled and will post the updated date and details as soon as we have them.

🏡 A Little Village Office Update

We wanted to take a moment to let our residents know that our Village Clerk, Cindy, resigned from her position last Tuesday.

As we work through this transition, we kindly ask for everyone’s patience and understanding. Changes like this can take a little time to navigate, but we are committed to keeping our Village moving forward and continuing to serve our community to the best of our ability.

We appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time. We are all neighbors, and we’re grateful to have such a supportive community. ❤️

💧 VILLAGE WATER BILL UPDATE 💧

Due to the rising cost of postage and an increase in water bill postcards being lost in the mail, the Village is now offering residents the option to receive their water bills by email.

📧 Interested in going paperless?
Simply provide the Village with your email address by commenting it below or calling Village Hall, and we will be happy to send your water bill directly to your inbox each month.

No need to print your bill! When making your payment, simply write your account number on your payment.

We hope this new option makes receiving your water bill easier, faster, and more reliable while helping the Village reduce postage costs.

Village of Athens Water System bills were mailed July 30th. Water bills are due by the 20th and of each month. Late fees are applied on the 21st of each month. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY WATER BILLS NOT PAID IN FULL BY THE 30th OF EACH MONTH WILL BE DISCONNECTED!!!
