Ever wonder what happens to your recycling after it hits the curb in Athens? 🚛♻️
It doesn't disappear—it gets to work! We want you to see the real impact of your habits and trust that when you put recycling in the bin, it truly gets recycled.
Here is what our community processed into tightly bound bales this week, ready to become brand-new products:
📦 150 bales of cardboard
🥫 54 bales of mixed containers
📰 35 bales of mixed paper
🛑 34 bales of trash (unaccepted items)

Quality matters! When trash ends up in the recycling bin, it slows down the whole system.

If all of our awesome baskets and a fun dance party haven't made you stop and get tickets to the KACCB Dirty Dance Party - let me share one of the wonderful things our board raises funds for! Our Love Where You Live Grants provide funding for organizations looking for support of sustainability projects. We were recently able to provide funds to Love.Craft in support of a garden for their community! Get some raffle tickets and come out and dance and support our mission!
