On 04 May 2026,The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus ROTC Unit under the supervision of 1501st (ADN) Community Defense Center, 15RCDG, RESCOM, PA, under the esteemed leadership of CDC Director, MAJ REGIE Q BRIONES (CE) PA, showcased an exceptional performance and dedication, displaying their passion and dedication for excellence, achieving an outstanding performance of ๐ต๐ฒ.๐ฑ๐ฒ% during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 held at the Oval, Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, T. Curato St., Cabadbaran City.
The RAATI serves as an annual evaluation conducted by the Philippine Army to assess the operational, administrative, and tactical readiness of ROTC units in universities and colleges across the region. This first RAATI appearance will be remembered not just for the results, but for what it represented: the beginning of a stronger, prouder CSUCC ROTCU ready to serve, lead, and compete with honor. Their performance at RAATI 2026 set a high standard and proved that dedication and unity can overcome inexperience.
The CSUCC ROTCU participated in a diverse array of activities as part of the tactical inspection process. The Cadet Officers and the Basic Cadets showcased their proficiency and readiness through tasks such as Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Inspection, Company Drill, Small Unit Tactics, M16 Assembly and Disassembly, and Basic Life Support. Additionally, they displayed their knowledge in theoretical exams like the Comprehensive Exam and Map Reading. Each activity assessed not only their physical capabilities but also their strategic thinking and teamwork skills.
The RAATI 2026 inspection team was led by COL REY P PASCO GSC (INF) PA, the official Chairperson of the RAATI 2025 Team. Their presence underscored the importance of RAATI as a benchmark for discipline and training quality among tertiary-level ROTC units.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Deomila B. Mamaoag, Campus Director, Dr. Jona J. Bioncog, Division Chief for Academic Affairs, Ms. Cora B. Cabonce, NSTP Head, and Pvt. Juanito V. Cellion Jr. PA (Res), ROTC Coordinator, for their steadfast support and invaluable guidance, which played a crucial role in the success of this event. The dedication and encouragement from our school administrators made this achievement possible.
We also sincerely thank our devoted training personnel, led by MAJ Roque M Agosila PA (Res), ROTC Commandant, together with 2LT John Almer C Visitacion PA (Res), Assistant Commandant, Sgt Armando I Bunio (SC) PA, Tactical NCO/Chief Clerk Sgt Sherwin A Mero Inf PA (Res), Operation NCO, Sgt Rochel Sanrojo PA (Res), Admin NCO, Sgt Jaymar D Marabe PA (Res), Logistic NCO, and all our Graduate Military Assistants for their unwavering guidance, dedication, and support.
