🐾❤️ RONNIE & REGGIE – TWO HEARTS, ONE FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾
Remember our gorgeous Ronnie and Reggie? Well, these two handsome 10-year-old Cocker Spaniels are now ready to find their forever home! 🏡
These lovely boys are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together. Although they come as a package, they certainly have very different personalities!
❤️ THEIR IDEAL HOME
We’re looking for a patient, understanding home where these boys can enjoy their golden years surrounded by love and companionship.
🐾 Together forever: Ronnie and Reggie must be adopted as a pair.
🐾 Plenty of company: Reggie has displayed some separation anxiety, so they need a home where someone can be around for much of the day while they settle in and is willing to help him regain his confidence in being left.
🐾 Other dogs: Both boys are entire (unneutered) males, so they cannot be rehomed with unspayed female dogs. Homes with other dogs will be considered subject to suitability.
🐾 Cats: Ronnie and Reggie have not been cat tested, so their suitability for living with cats is currently unknown.
🐾 Children: The boys have previously lived with children. Any prospective family home will be considered on an individual basis to ensure it’s the right match for everyone.
🐾 Secure garden essential: Both boys absolutely love spending time outdoors, so their new home must have a secure, enclosed garden where they can safely explore and enjoy themselves.
🐾 Patience and understanding: They’ve experienced a lot of change recently and will need time, reassurance and consistency as they settle into their new home.
💙 RONNIE – THE CALM AND GENTLE ONE!
Ronnie is a lovely, gentle soul who can be a little sensitive at times and looks to his humans for reassurance.
He’s incredibly eager to please, has lovely manners and is a proper cuddle bug. Forget the toys – Ronnie would much rather be curled up beside you enjoying some fuss and affection.
As he’s settled into foster care, his confidence has continued to grow, and his calm, affectionate nature has really started to shine through.
💚 REGGIE – THE 10-YEAR-OLD PUPPY!
Reggie clearly hasn’t read the memo about being a senior dog!
He’s playful, mischievous and full of character. He absolutely adores his toys and has the most wonderful habit of picking one up and doing a full-body wiggle whenever he’s excited to see you.
He’s particularly fond of his favourite teddy, which he loves carrying around and even takes to bed with him!
Reggie knows his commands, although whether he chooses to remember them is another matter entirely!
Reggie also needs to continue gaining weight, so his new family will need to support him with this as he settles into his forever home.
🐾 LIFE IN FOSTER CARE
Both boys have been doing brilliantly in foster care, and their foster mum describes them as calm, quiet and well-behaved around the house.
As long as they’ve had their daily exercise and some mental enrichment, they’re more than happy to spend their time snoozing, enjoying cuddles or occasionally popping into the garden.
They love their walks and have shown lovely manners when out and about, including visits into the local village and the RSPCA shop.
Their foster mum has also discovered that they walk particularly well on harnesses.
It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they’ve settled into their foster home, and we’re so pleased that their individual personalities are shining through.
At 10 years young, Ronnie and Reggie still have so much love, personality and happiness to offer. They’re a wonderful double act who deserve a home where they can finally put their paws up and enjoy life together.
