Matthew has an upcoming MRI scan so today we helped Matt watch some videos and verbal explanations of what he would expect when he goes for his scan . This is a positive usage of the technology available to us and hopefully it helps Matts experience easier and not to daunting for him 🥰

Thirsty Thursday grand opening at St Mary church hall launched Thursday 29/10/2026 the courtyard has been instrumental in the planning and organising stages along with some very dedicated community volunteers . A big shout out to Matty Lees and Hassan Ali who have attended all the meetings and helped with the set up and layout of the new venture . The opening was a great success and all the hard work that went into the organisation and planning certainly paid off. A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time for free and provided cakes and tea and coffee donations . Also the local Tesco at hobs Meadow donated some tea bags and biscuits and have pledged a weekly donation to help ThirstyThursday continue to be a success . We would like to thank all those who attended the cafe and hope we can build a friendly warm community space that all want to attend each week and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake , meet friends old and new and just connect with each other and finally the play corner was especially enjoyed by little fatti so well done all for helping to make this a success long may it reign 🎂 🍰 ☕️ 🫖

🍝👩‍🍳 Charlotte’s Amazing Carbonara! 👏
Charlotte cooked up an amazing Carbonara for the Courtyard group, and it was absolutely delicious! 😋❤️
What made it even more special was that Charlotte has been telling us for a long time that she couldn’t cook! Well, we think she’s proved herself wrong! 😂🙌
The group thoroughly enjoyed her tasty creation, and we’re so proud of Charlotte for giving it a go and showing off her cooking skills.
Who knows what delicious dish she’ll be cooking up next? Keep up the great work, Charlotte! 🥰👏
