Don't miss the final week of the local history exhibition this week at Olton Library! The photo here shows Keith with the research he's gathered about James Kent, who bought land across Olton and Birmingham and built many sites of note, including back to back houses in Olton that lasted from the 1870s until 1959. To learn about all this and more, pop in during library opening hours this week.

UPDATE: Our systems are now working and full services are available at Olton Library.

Network Issues Affecting Library Services

Due to major network problems across Europe, some of our phone lines, email and IT systems are currently unavailable.
As a result, all Solihull libraries, with the exception of The Core Library and Chelmsley Wood Library, are currently unable to access phone lines or IT systems. Library services at these locations will therefore be limited.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience while the issue is resolved.
