🚶‍♀️ Normanton & Altofts – Get Ready to Beat the Street! 🚶‍♂️

A fun, free walking, cycling, running, scooting, moving challenge is coming to your area from 10th June to 8th July and everyone can take part!

Beat the Street is a simple game where you walk, wheel or cycle between special “Beat Boxes” placed around your community to score points.

It’s a great way to get active, explore your local area, and have some fun along the way.

💚 All school children will receive a Beat the Street card through their school, and families can get involved together by picking up a card at a local distribution point.!

🏆 Prizes available for: Individuals, Schools, Teams and Local charities

🎉 Plus loads of events happening throughout the 4 weeks!

💚 No cost to take part
💚 Suitable for all ages and abilities
💚 Go at your own pace
💚 Take part on your own or with family & friends

1 June marks Global Day of Parents and celebrates the critical role parents and carers play in raising happy, healthy children.

But parenting doesn’t come with a handbook - sometimes it helps to know you’re not the only one figuring things out as you go.

Our programmes support parents from birth through to age 12, covering everything from child development and behaviour to key transitions and everyday challenges.

They’re a chance to come together with other parents to share, learn, and support each other in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No judgement, just understanding.
