This one is from an exercise that took place in Greece, 1962. Apparently one of the largest NATO exercises since the end of the 2nd World War.

FIBUA

This weekend, soldiers from 299 Para Sqn RE spent time with their counterparts at 75 Engineer Regiment developing their skills in an urban environment, with training focused on Fighting in Built-Up Areas (FIBUA). The training tested communication, teamwork and the ability to work effectively in a challenging and unfamiliar environment.

Urban operations are a key part of modern military training, and weekends like this give our Reservists the opportunity to put their skills into practice in realistic conditions.
